Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco opened its doors in September 1984 with a concert featuring Cyndi Lauper which benefited the San Francisco Art Institute. The memorabilia collection was updated in January 1997, to better showcase legends who were icons from psychedelic rock era such as Jimi Hendrix, Cream (Eric Clapton's early band), The Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. |
